Loaded vs Vicious Gaming

E-mail Print PDF

Tonight Loaded played Vicious Gaming in ESEA Invite Season 4 in Team Fortress 2 on cp_freight.

We were going to run the standard Kritzkrieg setup for the mid battle on freight but awesomely Glue's unlocks got taken away because he is an idler and somehow he doesn't have them back yet. So we were about to bench him for Animeman to medic but he convinced us that we didn't need it for this match so we went ahead and ran uber the whole match. I hope you'll enjoy the match and comms for this one.

Loaded vs Strickland Propane

E-mail Print PDF

Tonight Loaded played Strickland Propane in ESEA Invite Season 4 in Team Fortress 2 on cp_granary.

For the first time this season all 7 Loaded players were available to play in the match. After a brief discussion we finalized our lineup for the match and both teams readied up quickly and without incident. I don't remember too much about the match but from the stats it was clear than Enigma was on fire.

Loaded vs 20id

E-mail Print PDF

Tonight Loaded played 20id on in ESEA Invite Season 4 in Team Fortress 2 on cp_freight.

Glue's work prevented him from scrimming these past 2 days so we used Animeman to medic instead who had been warmed up scrimming medic in Glue's absence. I got home later than expected because a business meeting ran late so I got in the scrim server about 15 minutes before the match time for a warm up scrim. A team with Pure and Pokey was going to scrim us but they left the server suddenly as I was joining. I was told they said that scrimming us was delaying our match. We scrambled to find another group of guys to scrim us and with about 6 minutes left got a round and a half in on freight before I got messaged by an ESEA admin at 9:42.

NEF|notor: yo
NEF|notor: get in
NEF|notor: the esea server
NEF|notor: asapppppppp
[Loaded - jaeger]: not supposed to start for another minute
NEF|notor: 20id
NEF|notor: is angry
[Loaded - jaeger]: its scheduled for 9:43
NEF|notor: and doing .reportffw
NEF|notor: and
NEF|notor: i know
NEF|notor: just get a guy in there
[Loaded - jaeger]: and we are supposed to get 20 minutes
NEF|notor: so that they dont freak out
NEF|notor: i moved it forward
NEF|notor: to get a match slipped in
NEF|notor: i told carnage that
NEF|notor: i would like u guys
NEF|notor: to start soon within 3-4 mins tho
[Loaded - jaeger]: for you ill do it
NEF|notor: cause of 20id's bit
[Loaded - jaeger]: for them fuck off
NEF|notor: thank you sir :D

So we got in the server and readied up while I had about 6 minutes of TF2 played today.

Whatever was going on before I got into the match server had calmed down by the time I got in. When we began the match I had about 6 minutes of TF2 played for the day but luckily it didn't seem to affect the overall match much. I think it's because we finally got some good practice in last night with the team and my role in the strategy we used doesn't require much fragging from me. I go in aggressively and noticeably over extend myself. This usually results in the opposing team focusing too much attention on my immediate threat and the easy kill I represent. While I draw the enemy fire for only a brief moment this is usually enough time for Carnage and the rest of the team to kill everything. Most of the rounds I had to sit in spawn for 2 captures waiting to cycle forward. It's a pretty boring map to play from my perspective but all my teammates did great work and what matters in the end is the W.

Loaded vs Hostile Faction

E-mail Print PDF

The other night Loaded played Hostile Faction in ESEA Invite Season 4 in Team Fortress 2 on cp_badlands.

All of Loaded thought the match had me rescheduled to the following day so we were pretty surprised when we were asked why we weren't in the match server. After determining that we had to play the match right away we scrambled and got our team together and into the server. The hf guys understood and waited for us to get in and the match got underway. It started off rocky but after a few minutes we got warmed up and most of the match seemed to go pretty smoothly.

TF2 Tips and Tricks - Volume 3

E-mail Print PDF

Volume 3 of Team Fortress 2 Tips and Tricks is out. This tip focuses on 2 of a variety of applications for a glitch on cp_freight. For this video I tried using Sony Vegas for the first time and I'm not altogether sure how to operate it so there may be problems with quality, editing, and sound levels. Hopefully it still gets the point across and a someone will learn something new from it.

I'd like to thank Litany and ApoplexyServers for the server used to make this video and Monkeysycthe, Ltk, and Soulja Boy for helping me record it.

Note that this is not allowed in ESEA because ESEA is stupid.
